Hello Class of 2022 Parents,

Can you believe it? We are starting to plan the 2022 Senior Banquet!

So, what exactly is the IB Senior Banquet?

The Senior Banquet is organized by the IB Parent Association (IB Alliance Inc.) to honor the hard work and dedication of all graduating IB seniors. Graduates and their families are invited to attend this memorable event held each year in May on an evening before commencement. HHS teachers and administration as well as school board members also attend the Senior Banquet. This truly is the last hurrah for seniors to gather together in a semi-formal setting that promotes social interaction throughout the evening as well as spending time with their teachers. The evening’s festivities may include speakers, photo opportunities with each other as well as HHS faculty and administration, entertainment, food, an opportunity for each student to share his/her university of matriculation, a memory book, and a slideshow portraying the graduates Then and Now! We would like to get as many parents as possible to support the banquet.

IB Class of 2022 Timeline for the rest of the year can be found here.

We need your support to make our Senior Celebration activities really special for the class of 2022!

Our “Un-Fundraiser” is the only fundraiser in which 100% of your donation goes toward our Senior Banquet expenses.  This is a voluntary fundraiser, but if all of our families participate, it could be our only one! There are multiple donation levels and all funds donated help our class. Please go to the Senior Store at HHSIB.org here and donate your heart out before February 18, 2022. For more information about our fundraising plans, click here.

Thank you in advance for your support of our kids!

The Senior Celebration Committee

Time to remember the past four years and celebrate the fond memories of their time at HHS in the 2022 IB Senior Memory Book! Share photos, write messages and well wishes to your child or friends.

Each Senior IB Student will be gifted a copy of the Memory Book at the end of the school year. Additional memory books can be pre-ordered for $25 each.

Commemorate your student’s 4-year journey through the IB Program by creating a Tribute in the Memory Book. Tributes can contain pictures from any school year and can include quotes, memories, and sentiments for you to share. Be creative!!

Here are some important reminders to help you best prepare for your time with Feeding Tampa Bay:
1. Given the recent change in CDC guidelines and our desire to ensure the safety of our volunteers and staff, we are requiring all volunteers wear masks once again – for both inside and outside shifts. This is true for vaccinated and non-vaccinated volunteers.
2. In consideration of your safety, volunteers MUST wear flat, closed-toe shoes. You should also avoid wearing tank tops; sleeveless or short-cut shirts (crop tops); and short-shorts. If these guidelines are not followed, volunteers will be asked to reschedule their shift.
3. We provide all orientation on site at the start of your service - no need to study anything before you see us!
4. All volunteers will check in with the Feeding Tampa Bay staff member on site - who will direct you to sign in and fill out a name tag.
5. Masks and gloves will be available to all volunteers on site.
6. Hydration will be provided on site for volunteers. If you wish to have a snack during the shift, feel free to bring one along.
7. If you and/or your team members have not filled out our online Liability Waiver, please do so using the link below. This is required for all volunteers before the start of the shift. Liability Waiver - https://forms.gle/s9Tm3GcRPPLNQyTt5
